Outside Food and Beverages
Outside food and drinks aren't allowed inside, but you're welcome to enjoy them in the picnic area out in the parking lot.
Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permitted anywhere on Aquarium property.
Aquarium Re-Entry
Leaving and coming back the same day? Keep your receipt — you'll need it to get back in.
Receipts can't be transferred between people, and doing so is grounds for ejection without a refund.
Smoking and Vaping
Smoking and vaping aren't allowed anywhere in the Aquarium, or within 100 feet of the building — it keeps the air clear for our animals and guests.
Pets & Service Animals
Pets aren't allowed inside, but service animals are always welcome.
Under the ADA, a service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person's disability. Emotional-support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals don't qualify and can't be brought inside.
Please don't leave a pet unattended in the parking lot or in your vehicle.
Unattended Minors
We recommend that anyone under 18 visit with an adult. The Aquarium does not assume responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
Lost or Stolen Items
San Antonio Aquarium isn't responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, but you can report anything missing to Guest Services.
Follow up by email at info@sanantonioaquarium.net.
Guest Behavior
Please keep things family-friendly. Unruly, disruptive, or offensive behavior isn't permitted anywhere in the Aquarium.
Photo/Video Disclosure
By visiting, you allow high-resolution photos and videos taken at the park to be used for advertising, without payment or compensation.
Refund Policy
San Antonio Aquarium single-day tickets, annual passes, credits, interactive experiences, premium bottles, and buckets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement
By entering San Antonio Aquarium and participating in related activities, guests agree to hold harmless and indemnify San Antonio Aquarium, its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any and all claims.
Guests assume the inherent risks associated with feeding and touching live animals and fully accept the risk of bodily injury or harm. These risks can include bumps, bruises, scratches, loss of vision, bodily injury, skin disorders, mental disorders, dismemberment, or death.
Health & Encounter Notice
Follow all posted health and safety instructions while you're here.
As in any public place, an inherent risk of exposure to viruses and other pathogens exists; visiting means voluntarily accepting that risk.
All encounters are first come, first served and depend on the animals' own willingness to take part.
